Finding, Transmitting, Receiving is the first major anthology of the work of internationally renowned photographer and filmmaker Hannah Collins. The book collects together for the first time the extensive body of work that Collins has produced over the last 15 years.

Collins, who divides her time between Spain and London, is celebrated for her largescale installations and films. Projects working in the former Eastern Block, amongst gypsies in Barcelona and in a remote village during a Russian winter, as well as other lengthy involvements in wide-ranging locations, create a broad canvas on which to become absorbed in our contemporary human condition. Homelessness, migration and the global effects of shifting economic patterns are recurring themes in her work, as is the power of place and architecture to communicate historic events.
