The rich quality of light in Australia and New Zealand inspired me to pursue photography. My passion has been to capture the mood created by the light. The mood of a scene in front of me sometimes makes me feel that I am encountering something beyond the scene - something more like the essence of the place. When I have captured it, the shot is of my emotional experience.
